HAPPY CAMPERS is a work-in-progress, choreographed by Minneapolis artist Bill Cravis.
That’s me. The final presentation of HAPPY CAMPERS will involve a six-channel video
installation with audio and sculptural elements. This project has been on my mind for a long,
long time. Until now I haven’t had the resources to embark on HAPPY CAMPERS. Every art
project, like every dog, has its day (at this early stage, HAPPY CAMPERS resembles an
adorable puppy).
I proposed HAPPY CAMPERS to the MN State Arts Board and received an Artist Initiative Grant
of $10,000 to complete the project! The grant allows me to purchase high-quality video and
audio equipment and to hire the services of Ethan Holbrook, a local videographer, and Joel Kasr,
a local web developer. However, the project is nothing without YOU.
HAPPY CAMPERS needs hundreds of willing participants in order to succeed…
